Author's POV:-
Water dripped from both of them as the intensity between them grew.
With their lips now mere inches apart, her breath caught in her throat,
anticipation hanging heavy in the air.
He leaned in, his lips almost grazing hers, and she instinctively closed her eyes surrendering herself to the intensity of the moment. His hand firmly held her waist, drawing her closer, causing her breath to catch in her throat, while his other hand cradled the back of her neck, pulling her in even more. With a swift motion, he turned them around
pinning her against the car.
She gasped at the sudden move,
her hand instinctively landed on his chest while rainwater dripping onto their faces and lips, heightening the intensity as his other hand pressed against the car's sleek exterior. The closeness between them almost suffocating. The rainwater dripping down her lips captivating him even more as he looked at her intensely. Their lips hovered dangerously close, on the brink of a passionate encounter, when a sudden car horn shattered the moment, jolting her back to reality.
Startled, she slightly pushed him away by his chest , the spell shattered as she became aware of her actions.
He too snapped back to reality, the rush of desire abruptly replaced by frustration and annoyance. Closing his eyes in exasperation, he grappled with the realization that he had lost his control in that moment.
As the car approached, a figure emerged, holding an umbrella aloft. "Sir jiii" the driver called out, hastening to their side and sheltering them from the rain.
'Fuck everyone.' he muttered under his breath, irritation evident in his tone. Glancing at her, he noticed her flushed cheeks as she looked down.
His gaze drifted to her clothing, which clung to her figure, her waist now visible due to the drench. Seeing her shivering a little, he pulled out his coat and draped it over her, buttoning it up, ensuring she was properly covered causing her to be surprised at his actions.
Taking her hand gently, he guided her into the car, offering a slight squeeze as she stepped inside. She didn't look at him, keeping her gaze fixed downward
perhaps out of awkwardness.
"I'll drive." he declared to the driver, gesturing for the driver to step aside.
The driver's expression shifted from confusion to little bewilderment. Aaryansh noticed the puzzled look and raised an eyebrow.
"To....wo.. mai...piche...baithun...?" the driver stammered, uncertain of what to do, making her giggle.
While Aaryansh raised an eyebrow, his stern gaze visibly scaring him.
"K-kuch nahi sir ji ...mai g-gaadi leke aata ...." the driver stammered, his words tumbling out in a hurried jumble before he hastily made his escape.

They reached their mansion after a while. The car ride from there to here was silent. Her heart raced with nerves as she recalled the previous scene. Lost in her thoughts, she snapped back to reality when he extended his hand towards her, waiting for her to get out of the car. She looked down and took his hand, stepping out carefully. However, as she got down, her ankle twisted, causing her to wince in pain.
"What happened?" he asked immediately, concern etched on his face. She held onto his hand tightly. "N-Nothing.." she said, trying to brush it off. But he noticed her ankle and gave her a look.
Before she could protest, he picked her up in a bridal style, making her gasp in surprise.
"Kyaa... karrein aap??" she blurted out, nervous. He didn't say anything, simply carrying her inside.
"Koii ....dekh legaa.." she said nervously. "Dekhne dijiye." he said calmly as he led her inside. She looked at him, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement.
As he led her inside, Riya appeared, her eyes widening in shock at the sight. Meera noticed her and closed her eyes in embarrassment, whispering in his ears, "Utaariiye!!" She pleaded.
He gave her an amusing look.
"Kya??" he asked in a playful tone,
enjoying her discomfort. She knew exactly what he meant.
She squeezed her eyes shut, silently pleading, "Mujhe... nichee!!" while Riya's eyes remained wide in shock.
Ignoring her, he simply led her upstairs, while she buried her head in his chest, embarrassed, while her hand unknowingly clutched the collar of his shirt, leaving Riya behind, still shocked.
He led her inside the room and carefully settled her on the couch.
Kneeling down to her level, he reached out to hold her ankle, but she instinctively pulled it back. Confusion flickered in his eyes as he met her gaze.
"What happened?" he asked, his tone gentle yet concerned, as he made another attempt to inspect her ankle for any signs of injury. Once again, she withdrew her foot.
"Wo... aap... pair mat chuhiye" she said softly, her voice filled with hesitation.
Raising an eyebrow, he adopted a playful tone. "Does it tickle?" he teased.
"Nahi nahi.." she shook her head
With that, he reached out to hold her ankle, but before she could protest further, he placed a gentle finger on her lips. "Sshh" he murmured softly.
He held her ankle gently, twisting it slightly to assess the discomfort. As she winced, his brows furrowed with concern. "Does it hurt ?" he asked, his tone filled with genuine worry. She nodded slightly, confirming the pain.
"Wait." he said softly before leaving the room momentarily. She watched him go. When he returned, he had an ointment in his hand as he knelt down beside her once again.
With gentle hands, he applied the ointment to her ankle, his touch tender and comforting. She observed him in silence her heart fluttering at his sweet and caring gestures. Her eyes wandered over his features, taking in the sight of his wet hair, water droplets glistening as they dripped down from his hair strands. His white shirt, damp from the rain, clung to him, revealing the contours of his physique underneath, accentuating his undeniable allure looking irresistibly hot and captivating , his sweetness adding to his charm.
His voice cut through the silence, jolting her back to the present moment.
"Better?" he inquired. She snapped out of her daze and nodded in response. He noticed her slight shiver.
"Go and change" he instructed gently.
She nodded in acknowledgment and began to rise, but she struggled to walk.
Observing her difficulty he picked her up once more into his arms. The suddenness of his action made her gasp yet again, but she found solace in his steady embrace.
He led her to the closet and gently set her down. "Thank...u" she murmured softly

After some time, she returned, her hair still glistening from the rain. He glanced up from his laptop as she entered the room, his gaze immediately drawn to her. The sight of her hair framing her face in an alluring manner once again captivated him.
Their eyes met, and a faint blush colored her cheeks as she held his gaze. Sensing the intensity of the moment, he quickly averted his eyes, knowing he needed to maintain his composure.
As he remained engrossed in his work, she couldn't help but steal glances at him. She noticed that he was still drenched, his hair untouched by a towel. Concern crept into her thoughts; he would surely catch a cold if he didn't change soon.
Approaching him, she gently said,
"Aap bhi.. change kar lijiye... else you'll catch a cold.." she urged, her tone laced with genuine worry.
A playful smirk tugged at his lips as he looked up at her. Rising from the bed, he moved closer, causing her to retreat slightly. "Worried for me?" he teased, his eyes twinkling mischievously as he closed the distance between them.
"N-nahi... wo..." She stumbled over her words, feeling her heart flutter at his proximity.
"No? So you don't care about me?" he asked, furrowing his brow in mock disappointment as he continued to advance, backing her against the wall.
"No no, I do" she immediately said, her breath catching as he leaned in closer, his hand coming to rest beside hers on the wall.
"Wait. I remembered. I didn't fulfill the deal I made." he whispered, his voice low and playful.
Confused, she hesitantly asked, "Which... deal?"
His smirk widened as he reminded her "Don't you remember? That 'plenty of kisses' deal?" he said, causing her eyes to widen.
She swallowed nervously, pretending not to recall. Shaking her head, she hoped to evade the conversation. Her puzzled expression deepened.
"You really don't remember?" he asked, his tone tinged with disbelief. Again, she shook her head, feigning innocence.
"Shall I refresh your memory?" he teased, his voice husky, water droplets from his hair adding to his allure as they cascaded down. She hesitated, attempting to divert the topic and escape quickly. "You should.. change before you catch a cold.." she blurted out, but he caught her wrist, pulling her closer.
"Answer me first." he insisted, drawing her nearer. "Shall I remind you about the deal, wifey?" he asked huskily, sending shivers down her spine at the endearment. Her heart fluttered as she looked away while he again pressed her against the wall, enjoying her nervousness.
"I think I do need to remind you." he said, leaning in closer, causing her to instinctively close her eyes feeling his proximity. Sensing her reaction, a small smile played on his lips.
Stepping back he said,
"Fine then. I'll go change, as my wife suggests." And left, leaving her cheeks burning with a blush.
Lost in reminiscence of their previous encounters and the flurry of thoughts they evoked, she heard him call out, "Suniye."
Startled, she turned, only to be greeted by the warmth of his lips pressing against her cheek. "You know, you look absolutely adorable when you blush." he whispered softly, his words wrapping around her like a gentle embrace. With a twinkle in his eyes, he disappeared inside, leaving her completely shocked
and struggling to comprehend the magical moment that had just unfolded.
After some time, she finally regained her composure, her hand instinctively flying to her cheek where he had planted the unexpected kiss. Unknowingly, a soft smile tugged at her lips, but she quickly caught herself, shaking her head. Still struggling to process what had just happened. She was lost in her thoughts when he returned, sneezing.
Concerned, she approached him.
"Kya hua aapko?" she asked worriedly as he sneezed again, her worry growing.
"Nothing." he replied, attempting to brush it off, but she stopped him by gently grasping his wrist.
"Rukiye" she said, noticing his warm wrist. She felt his forehead, realizing it was burning. "You have a high fever, Aaryansh ji" she said, holding his hand and guiding him to sit on the bed meanwhile hearing his name from her lips for the first time warmed his heart.
"Wait, I'm bringing medicines for you" she said as she moved to leave, but he gently caught her wrist. "No need. I'm fine." he said casually, before sneezing again, causing her to frown.
"You are not fine. Maine kaha thaa aapse change karlijiye, rukiye, I'm coming back" she insisted, surprising him with her sudden assertiveness. It was the first time she had spoken so openly to him, and it warmed his heart.
After a short while, she returned with medicine and a glass containing a green-colored concoction, finding him still absorbed in his work on the laptop.
Softly calling his name, she approached, prompting him to close his laptop and accept the offered remedies.
"There's no--" he started to say, but she cut him off gently. "Please.." she pleaded softly, her tone melting his heart. He nodded in acquiescence, unable to resist her earnest request and accepted the medicine from her.
Afterwards, she handed him a glass filled with herbal concoction.
"What's this?" he asked
"Kaadha" she replied simply.
"Kaadha?" he repeated, astonished by the unexpected offering. She nodded in confirmation.
He hated the taste of it. "No." he said firmly.
"What no?" she asked, her tone sounded somewhat firm, curious about his refusal.
"I mean..I'm fine. There's no need for kaa---" he began to protest, only to be interrupted by another sneeze.
Seeing his distress, she grew even more worried. "Aaryansh ji, please.." she pleaded again, her earnestness melting his heart once more.
Reluctantly, he nodded and accepted the glass from her hand, drinking it in one go while closing his eyes tightly against the taste. A small smile tugged at her lips as she watched him.
Once he had finished, she took the glass from him with a gentle smile, placing the medicines and the empty glass on the sidetable.
She noticed him heading towards the couch.
"Kaha jaa rahein aap?" she asked, her concern evident in her voice.
"To sleep" he replied, his voice weighed down by the fever.
"Rukiye... Don't sleep on the couch" she urged.
"Then on the floor?" he teased lightly.
"Nahiii" she replied immediately.
"I mean... sleep on the bed" she clarified.
He raised an eyebrow playfully.
"Aapke saath?" he asked, stepping closer to her with a twinkle in his eyes.
Feeling a blush rise to her cheeks, she looked away, unable to meet his gaze directly. "I'll sleep on the couch... you're not well.." she insisted.
He frowned slightly. "Then no need. Thank you for your thoughtfulness." he said, making his way towards the couch, sneezing once more.
She stopped him, "Rukiye" she pleaded
He shook his head in refusal, but her plea tugged at his heartstrings.
But not this time.
"Please.." she said but he shook his head again.
Undeterred, she continued, "Acha , we'll both adjust.." she assured him.
He turned, raising his eyebrow in surprise. She nodded, confirming.
"Pakka?" he asked, seeking reassurance.
She nodded again.
"You sure?" he inquired once more, now a slight smile playing on his lips.
Again, she nodded.
"Okay then." he agreed.
