Author's POV:-
Glancing around at the still shocked expressions of the rest of the family, his Grandfather cleared his throat sternly, bringing them back to reality.
As everyone snapped out of their daze, exchanging glances, his mother stepped in, attempting to diffuse the tension. "Let's... Let's go and have breakfast now.." she said, her tone strained.
Meanwhile, Riya and Advay exchanged knowing glances and stifled giggles, recalling the scene they had just witnessed, earning a sharp glare from their mother.
Throughout the exchange, she kept her gaze lowered, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, while he remained unfazed, seemingly enjoying her discomfort.
"Come, bauji.." his mother called out to his grandfather, who nodded in agreement, his demeanor sharp and stern. Together, they made their way towards the dining area.
(Here, Bauji= Father in law.)
Riya and Advay again giggled as they noticed their brother while he gawked at her. Riya quickly grabbed Meera's hand, saying, "Come bhabhi, sit with me" but Advay intervened, holding her hand. "No! I will sit with bhabhi" he insisted.
"I said I'll sit with bhabhi! I'm her favourite, so she'll sit with me." Riya countered, pulling Meera towards her. "I'm bhabhi's favourite!!" Advay chimed in, tugging her towards him, while Riya continued to pull her towards her.
"Aaj to faisla ho hi jaaye! Bhabhii, tell him, I'm your favourite"
Riya pleaded as they tugged on Meera, who was feeling increasingly uncomfortable due to the pain in her abdomen.
( Translation:- The decision should be taken today!)
As discomfort crept into her abdomen once again, she winced subtly.
"Enough!" His voice thundered observing her discomfort, causing them to flinch hard.
With a stern gaze, he strode towards them, gripping her hand and pulling her towards him.
"She'll sit with her favourite person. It means she's going to sit with her husband." he declared firmly, leading her towards the dining area, leaving her in a state of shock while Advay and Riya were left dumbfounded.
He led her towards the dining area but stopped midway. She kept her gaze lowered, still feeling the embarrassment lingering in the air. Turning towards her, he gently placed his hand on her cheek, causing her heart to flutter.
"Is it still aching?" he inquired softly. She shook her head silently, unable to meet his gaze.
He seemed about to say something, but ultimately remained silent. Instead, he held her hand and guided her to the dining area.
Settling her beside him, she felt a wave of embarrassment amidst the lively chatter. Lost in her thoughts, she pondered what his grandfather might be thinking.
He observed her, noticing the rosy tint on her cheeks, and a mischievous impulse overtook him. Smirking inwardly, he firmly grasped her hand beneath the table, causing her eyes to widen in surprise.
She glanced up at him immediately, but he innocently resumed eating his meal. As she tried to retract her hand, he tightened his grip, earning a sharp glance from her. His mother's sudden call startled her,
"What's wrong beta? Why aren't you eating?"
She hesitated, "Wo.... nothing maa.."
Riya and Advay's giggles added to their confusion. "What's happening?" His mother inquired.
"Nothing, mom" Riya interjected, leaving the elders baffled as they dismissed the matter and resumed eating. Meanwhile, she attempted once more to retrieve her hand, whispering desperately,
"Aaryansh ji, chodhiyee...!!" But he remained unfazed, holding her hand even tighter as she struggled, her pleading eyes going unnoticed.
(Chodhiyee= Let go)
Sensing his stubbornness, she hesitantly began to eat with her left hand.
His mother's voice broke the silence once more, "Meera beta are you alright? You're using your left hand today..?"
She hesitated nervously,"Wo...maa... my right hand is .. a bit sore..."
Concerned, his mother pressed on, "Why? What happened beta? Are you okay?"
"Y-yes ma.. Just.. a minor twist..." She replied, still attempting to free her hand from his grasp, but he persisted in holding on tightly.
"How did it happen? Is your hand alright?" His mother inquired further, concerned.
"Wo ma.... It's just... I played badminton after a long time, so..."she explained, her voice trailing off.
His mother nodded with understanding, while she attempted once again to pull her hand away, only to find him unwilling to release it. Anger simmered within her as she shot him a glare, but he remained unfazed until she discreetly kicked his foot.
Startled, he glanced at her, but she merely whispered, "Chodhiyee..!" meeting his gaze with determination. However, instead of complying, he gave her an innocent look before mischievously pinching her waist.
"AAAAA!" She shouted in pain as his pinch caught her off guard, causing him to startle and resume eating peacefully.
"What happened? What happened beta?" His family questioned in unison, their gazes fixed on her with astonishment.
Feeling embarrassed, she hesitated nervously, struggling to find the right words as she glanced hesitantly at everyone.
"What happened baby?" He asked innocently, momentarily forgetting the presence of others, which only fueled her anger as she shot him a deadly glare.
The elders exchanged glances, while Riya and Advay both erupted into giggles once again.
With a giggle, Riya stood up
"Maa, I'm heading to college now. Bye!" She said as she walked over to her mother, stroking towards her for a hug.
She then approached her grandfather, saying, "Bye dadajii!" as she hugged him from behind. He smiled and patted her head affectionately.
Approaching Meera, Riya gave her a back hug saying, "Byee bhabhi"
Meera smiled, realizing Riya's intention of diverting everyone's attention purposely.
Lastly, Riya playfully hugged Aaryansh from behind saying, "Bye bye bhaii!" with a giggle, before she left.
She felt grateful to Riya for diverting everyone's attention, but as she noticed him walking away to answer his phone, anger surged through her. She couldn't shake off the embarrassment he had caused her three times today.

After a while
She noticed him talking on his phone, clad in black, looking undeniably attractive. An idea formed in her mind. She observed him putting his phone down and sitting with his grandfather and Advay.
"Revenge time, Mr.husband" she muttered under her breath. With a smile aimed at him, she caught his attention, causing him to raise a curious brow.
Meanwhile, Advay was busy recounting something to him, while their grandfather listened intently. Sensing the opportunity, she took small steps toward him, she flashed him a wink that left him visibly surprised.
She then swiftly exited from there, leaving him in a state of shock. Advay tried to get his attention, but he was completely absorbed in his thoughts
"BHAIIIYAA!!" Advay's shout near his ears snapped him out of his daze, and he glared at his younger brother.
"What!?" His voice came out a little louder than intended.
"I called you so many times, but you didn't hear" Advay exclaimed, perplexed by his absent-mindedness.
He quickly regained his composure, standing up abruptly.
"Line up the meeting with Mehra, by today." He ordered sternly, leaving Advay dumbfounded.
"Hein?? How?? He's not even in this country!!?" Advay replied, shocked by the sudden demand. He simply made his way outside, ignoring Advay's confusion.
"But the meeting is scheduled for THE NEXT WEEK BHAIII !!" Advay's voice trailed behind him, earning a soft chuckle from their grandfather, who watched the exchange.
"Dadajiii" Advay whined, making a comical cry face.

He found her outside, watering the plants. "Not a very good move, biwi." he murmured to himself, plucking a rose from beside him and concealing it behind his back.
Approaching her from behind, he suddenly spoke "What was that?" causing her to startle. She turned around to face him, her expression curious.
"What happened?" she inquired innocently.
He closed the distance between them, his gaze intense as he questioned her,
"I asked, what did you do inside?"
Feigning innocence, she replied,
"What did I do, Aaryansh ji?" Her voice carried a hint of mischief.
Raising an eyebrow, he leaned in closer, his breath grazing her skin as he whispered, "Do I need to remind you, Meera ji?" His proximity made her heart race, her breath catching in her throat as they stood mere inches apart.
But with a playful smile, she teased,
"What do you need to remind me, Aaryansh ji?" Her voice was light and playful, belying the heat that surged between them.
Caught off guard by her response, he blinked in surprise, momentarily thrown off balance by her boldness.
Realizing she had surprised him, she decided to go with the flow "Acha, wo...
I was just teasing you, like you do." she said casually, her smile widening as she moved to leave. But before she could take a step, he grabbed her waist with one hand, pulling her back against him.
"Teasing? Let me show you what real 'teasing' is, biwi." he declared, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips as he withdrew the rose from behind his back. She looked at it, puzzled, as his intense gaze locked onto hers, sending shivers down her spine.
"Al hacer esto, estás haciendo que sea cada vez más difícil resistirte, esposa." he murmured, sending a thrill through her, though she didn't understand the words, the intensity was palpable. Placing the rose gently on the side of her head, he made her close her eyes, her breath catching in her throat.
(Translation:- By doing this, you're making it increasingly difficult for me to resist you, wife.)
"You know how beautiful you look in a saree, biwi?" he husked, trailing the rose slowly down her cheek, making her shiver involuntarily.
"Aaryansh jii.." she blurted out, her hand found its way to his chest instinctively.
"I don't think there's any 'ji' in my name, wife." he said, sliding the rose slowly down to her lips, making her gulp as his gaze fell upon them. He smirked noticing her reaction, relishing the effect
he was having on her.
"Call me by my name." he commanded firmly, sliding the rose down slowly to her neck, then her collarbone, while she kept her eyes closed, her breath hitching in her chest. She attempted to protest but he silenced her by pressing a finger against her lips.
"Sshh" he hushed her softly, sliding the rose slowly over her arms, eliciting a tingling sensation that made her shiver. Her eyes remained closed, surrendering to the sensation.
"I asked you to say my name, not to protest, Biwi." he murmured, his voice low and husky, filled with desire, sending shivers down her spine as he continued to trace the rose over her skin. She attempted to pull away, but he tightened his grip, pulling her closer.
"Don't you want to learn the true meaning of 'tease' , wife?" he whispered huskily, relishing her reaction. Slowly, she opened her eyes, her gaze fixed on the ground.
"Aaryansh ji... chodhiyee... Koi dekh lega..." she pleaded, attempting to break free, but he seized her waist firmly with both hands, pulling her closer as he placed the rose to the side. His hands slid under her saree, grazing her bare waist, leaving her breathless.
"Again, dekhne dijiye." he murmured, his voice low husky, while she closed her eyes as he leaned in, their lips tantalizingly close as he pulled her.
( Translation:; Let go, someone will see.
Again, let whoever wants to see, see.)
Just as their lips were about to meet, the sound of his phone ringing startled her, causing her to jerk back abruptly. With a frustrated sigh, he closed his eyes briefly, while she looked away, her cheeks flushing crimson. Swiftly, she made her retreat, leaving him standing there in the aftermath of their interrupted special moment.
He cursed under his breath at the caller, anger flaring as he answered the phone. "Who the fuck is this?" His voice was sharp, making the person at the other end flinch.
"S-sir, Y-your... assistant h---"
"You're fired." he said, cutting off the assistant abruptly and ending the call, leaving the assistant dumbfounded on the other end.
